Effective July 10, 2026
Golden Drip Detailing Inc. (“Golden Drip,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we disclose it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, online booking system, membership program, gift cards, referral rewards program, and any related services (collectively, the “Services”).
We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario privacy laws.
1. Information we collect
We collect only the information reasonably necessary to provide and improve our Services:

- Service address — the location where mobile detailing or pressure washing will be performed.
- Vehicle information — year, make, model, colour, condition notes and photos required to quote and complete a detail.
- Property information — square footage, surface types and access notes for pressure washing jobs.
- Booking & account details — services selected, appointment dates, notes, membership tier, gift card balances, referral code and rewards activity.
- Payment information — payments are processed in-person or through our payment processors. We do not store full credit/debit card numbers on our servers; our processor tokenizes card data on our behalf.
- Communications — SMS and email messages you exchange with us, including automated booking confirmations, reminders and receipts.
- Technical information — IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and cookies used to operate and secure the site.
2. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Provide quotes, schedule appointments and deliver auto detailing and pressure washing services;
- Send booking confirmations, arrival notifications, reschedule notices (including weather delays), receipts and follow-ups by email or SMS;
- Operate customer accounts, memberships, gift cards and the referral rewards program;
- Process payments by cash, debit, credit card and Interac e-Transfer;

- Improve our services, train our team and monitor quality;

3. Consent
By booking a service, creating an account, purchasing a gift card, joining a membership, or opting into SMS/email notifications, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Policy. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions (for example, we may need to retain records to complete an active booking or comply with tax laws).
Marketing messages are sent only where permitted under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to any marketing SMS to opt out. Transactional messages (booking confirmations, reminders, receipts) may continue even after you unsubscribe from marketing.
4. When we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with parties who help us deliver the Services, and only to the extent necessary:
- Our team — detailers, pressure washing technicians and office staff who need the information to fulfil your booking;
- Service providers — hosting, payment processing, SMS/email delivery, mapping and analytics providers bound by confidentiality obligations;
- Legal & safety — when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Golden Drip, our customers or the public;
- Business transfers — if Golden Drip is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred subject to the same protections described here.
5. Data storage and security
Personal information is stored on secured, access-controlled cloud infrastructure. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), restricted staff access, and audit logging. Some of our service providers may store or process data outside of Canada; where they do, the information remains subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where it is processed.
While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we become aware of a real risk of significant harm resulting from a breach, we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required by PIPEDA.
6. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law (for example, invoices and tax records are retained for a minimum of six years under the Canada Revenue Agency's rules). Booking history and vehicle notes are retained to support recurring appointments, memberships and warranty coverage. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functions (keeping you signed in, remembering your cart or booking draft) and to understand how the site is used. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features (like online booking and account access) may not work correctly.
9. Children
Our Services are intended for customers 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
